Almost one percent population of the world is affected by vitiligo. This skin disorder is not frequently noticeable in fair complexioned people but this skin disorder is obvious in dark complexioned people.

Some dermatologists also prescribe corticosteroid creams for restoring lost melanin but if the white patches are small. Long use of this treatment is prohibited as should be avoided because of the side effects like thinning and withering of skin.
So be very careful in deciding a particular treatment as many fake products are also available in the market.
